Through the leadership offered by president Miles Hall, over 40,000 Oklahoma school children have been taught the basics of gun safety. Their leadership in Sensory Safaris has provided hands on wild life experiences to more than 800 local blind children.

For supporting retailers by directing consumers to stores nationwide through GalleryofGuns.com. Also for the development and sale of the Ruger/NRA William B. Ruger Endowment MKII pistol which has generated over $500,000 for the NRA’s Basic Marksmanship Training Program.

Leupold
For supporting the U.S. armed forces War on Terror with the introduction of a top-notch, high quality riflescope that went from concept into the hands of troops in 30 days, to assist operations in Afghanistan and later Iraq. Also for their unwavering support of the Hunting Shooting Sports Heritage Fund, Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) 4H, the NRA as well as dozens of additional hunting and shooting organizations.

2004 Shooting Industry Award

Stephen L. Sanetti, Ruger
For his work as general counsel and now president, in effectively defending against countless ill-conceived lawsuits by individuals, municipalities, and anti-gun organizations. Also for his efforts to support passage of S.659 to prevent frivolous lawsuits against manufacturers of legally manufactured and distributed products protecting the rights of companies and individuals within the firearms industry for future generations.
