Classifieds: A Great Way To Reach Retailers

One single inexpensive classified listing or display ad in Shooting Industry Magazine reaches more than 25,000 Federal Firearms Licensed retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and other industry aligned individuals. Scheduling ads in advance keeps you from missing important deadlines. But that doesn’t mean you have to run the same ad in every issue.

You can change copy any way you like at anytime before the deadline date, as long as the new ad is the same size. Larger ads will be charged at the new size rate.

HOW TO ORDER

It’s so easy! To have your classified display ad or listing included in the Shooting Industry classified advertisers section, just complete the appropriate order form. Fill out the order form and submit it to us by e-mail or if paying by check, print out the form and mail it to us.

Be sure to check the issue(s) you wish your display ad or listing to appear in. Also check the category your product or service is to be listed under. You can change your listing copy any way, any time you like before the deadline date, as long as the changes are the same number of words or less. Listing changes with additional words will be charged the per word rate.

DISPLAY AD SPACE:

• PREFERRED MATERIAL

PDF – saved hi-resolution (2400 dpi), fonts embedded, press optimized, binary, full resolution tif output. Contact the Production department for exact Distiller settings.
EPS – hi-resolution, all fonts saved outlines/curves/paths.
TIF – flattened hi-resolution.
JPEG – hi-resolution
Note: If native application files are sent, Publishers Development will convert files to pdfs.

• FILE REQUIREMENTS

• Image resolution: 300 dpi
• Fonts saved to outlines/paths.
• Black & White files – grayscale
• Color files - CMYK
• Hard copy must accompany all files.
• A faxed proof must be sent for all e-mail ads.
MAC or PC – We are Macintosh based, PC format is accepted if saved in accepted format.
MEDIA – CD, E-Mail or FTP Site. Call advertising for information
