Ruger has named Hoffman’s Gun Center & Indoor Shooting Range of Newington, Conn., as its 2011 Retailer of the Year. Owner Scott Hoffman was presented an engraved Mark III pistol in recognition of his strong support for Ruger and his success in the retail firearms industry.
“Hoffman’s advertising efforts are industry leading, and give our products visibility in print, online and on the radio. They also operate an indoor shooting range and participate in the Ruger Range Program, allowing potential customers the opportunity to try out and fall in love with Ruger firearms,” said Mike Fifer, Ruger president and CEO.
“Without a doubt, Hoffman’s offers the very best in service, value and selection, and we’re honored to recognize them as our Ruger Retailer of the Year.”
Hoffman’s, a family-owned operation, opened its doors in New Britain, Conn., in 1919. Surviving multiple location moves and even a fire, Hoffman’s is now the largest firearms retailer in New England.
Hoffman is displaying his pride in being honored as Ruger’s Retailer of the Year with a special website: www.hoffgun.com/ruger.
“It’s an honor of national proportions. And it’s only the third time Ruger has ever presented any firearms dealer with its prestigious Retailer of the Year Award. And this year, no dealer in all of America outshined the folks at Hoffman’s Gun Center,” Hoffman announces on the site.
Through the site, consumers are offered “some of our lowest prices ever on a broad assortment of Ruger pistols, revolvers and rifles.”
