NSSF, Industry Partners Introduce Retailer Program

The National Shooting Sports Foun-dation (NSSF) announces it has partnered with Orchid Advisors, Epicor Software Corporation and the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) to create a Firearms Industry Retail Development Program.

The Firearms Industry Retail Devel-opment Program will provide retailers who sell firearms and other NFA products with an expansive suite of proactive business, technology and regulatory services. The Program will be supported by the four organizations listed above.

Features of this program include:
Compliance Program Services: Onsite ATF/Import/NFA compliance evaluation, digital evaluation of electronic A&D books and access to
online state firearms regulatory portal.

On-Call Legal Services: A legal defense fund, an ATF/Import/NFA hotline, onsite inspection support and advisory services, provided by Orchid Advisors.

Business Growth Tools: On-call business consulting, an onsite Process/Systems control evaluation and an annual online POS technology developments conference.

A&D Books and Tools: Paper or electronic A&D software via the Epicor FFL Compliance Manager (designed by Orchid Advisors), Serial Number Inventory Software, Policies and Procedures and self-audit guides.

Education: Enrollment in the online Firearms Compliance University, access to a suite of online business courses and discounted access to both SHOT Show University and the Firearms Industry Compliance Conference.

Crow Launches Multi-Warehouse Ordering

Crow Shooting Supply has introduced multi-warehouse ordering, which enables Crow wholesale customers the ability to search for products in “real time” online. Crow has warehouses located in Nevada, Iowa and North Carolina and company officials report this development will help reduce shipping time and expense for wholesalers. Wholesale customers will be able to see product quantities in all three Crow warehouses and filter search results by location.

“Being able to find products in quantity and not far away is important when you’re running a gun shop or a sporting goods store,” said Steve Crow, founder and general manager of Crow Shooting Supply. “Our wholesale customers can now find the stuff they need near their region, no matter where their business is located. And they can do it all online, from their desk or office.”
