2004 H&H Gun Range: For adopting a business philosophy that relies on community involvement as a cornerstone to success. Through the leadership offered by president Miles Hall, over 40,000 Oklahoma school children have been taught the basics of gun safety. Their leadership in Sensory Safaris has provided hands on wild life experiences to more than 800 local blind children.

2005 Jay's Sporting Goods: For exceptional service to the community through the Mentor Reading Program where employees are paid full wages to teach children to read, the Job Shadowing Program where local high schools use the store as a classroom for merchandising courses, and the generous support of the Untied Way and Children’s Charter, a non profit organization which gives kids the opportunity and equipment to hunt and fish.

2006 Lipsey's: For their extraordinary involvement and contributions to Baton Rouge, surrounding communities and the state of Louisiana. During Hurricane Katrina, Lipsey’s opened its warehouse for use as a relief staging area, donated 19 handguns to the Sheriff’s Department and spear-headed search and rescue operations. Following Hurricane Rita, Lipsey’s organized a relief fund for families. Throughout 2005, Lipsey’s supported fundraisers for a variety of organizations and was instrumental in establishing the Louisiana Sportsmen’s Caucus.

2007 Ellett Brothers: For its leadership in demonstrating to the community how much people in the shooting business care. For raising $30,000 at its fourth consecutive silent auction for the Hunting and Shooting Sports Heritage Fund, bringing four-year donations to the fund totaling $160,000. For continuing its sponsorship of youth hunting and shooting programs in South Carolina, and for continuing its sponsorship of concealed weapons permit courses for the South Carolina senators and representatives.

2008 Brownells: For its contributions to the NRA endowment for youth education programs, support of 4H programs in Iowa, the Progressive Farmer magazine’s youth shooting program, and the Iowa Pheasants Forever’s Build a Habitat program. For its first-of-a-kind gunsmith’s job fair. For its continued support of the NRA, including a NRA membership drive with 1,000 members signed up in 2007.

2009 Kimber: For years of tremendous support of the shooting sports, gun owners and law enforcement through donations totaling $1,350,000. For donating $675,000 to the USA Shooting Team, making Kimber the largest donor of any firearms company in USA Shooting’s history. For donating $75,000 to the Los Angeles Police Department Memorial, and $600,000 worth of firearms to the NRA.
