With Purdy Gear Custom Holster.

Exclusive: Shooting Industry Masters Auction Benefiting National Shooting Sports Foundation First Shots Program.

More than 450 industry representatives, ranging from top administrators and factory personnel to professional shooters, will compete in the 2014 Shooting Industry Masters shooting competition July 18-19 at the Indian River Country Shooting Range on Florida’s Treasure Coast! A major component of the shoot will be fundraising events to benefit the National Shooting Sports Foundation First Shots Program, introducing thousands of new shooters to the shooting sports each year.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of this revolver will directly go to the First Shots Program, helping to assure the future of shooting by introducing new shooters to our sports.


A classic Ruger design, the Super Blackhawk Hunter is tailored for the handgun hunter, including built-in scope mount bases on the barrel rib to accommodate the included scope rings. This particular revolver is nicely customized by the pros at Mag-Na-Port. Building on the factory features, Mag-Na-Port added the following custom touches:

Inverted muzzle crown.

Mag-Na-Port service revolver porting.

Velvet hone, matte glass beaded finish.

Jewel and polish trigger and hammer.

Action job.

Headspace checked, along with cylinder gap alignment, timing check.

Re-cut forcing cone.

Number cylinder 1-6.

Etch Mag-Na-Port logo.

Etch “Shooting Industry Masters 2014”.

Mirror polish two bands on ejector rod housing.


The build sheet accompanying the pistol states: “Custom services performed by Ken Kelly/Mag-Na-Port International for: 2014 Shooting Industry Masters.”
